Basic elements and Health Education Process - Process health education also follow the educational process as written in previous articles, and the elements were the same. Who act as health educators here are all the health care workers and anyone who seeks to influence individuals or communities to improve their health. Because the individuals, groups or communities, in addition regarded as a target (object) education, can also act as a subject (actor) public health education if they are to be included in the public health effort.
Which means students or educational goal is a society or individual, whether sick or not / have not been ill, both children and adults, both the non-educated people and the educated, both the general public and health professionals. This will depend on the level and purpose of education provided. The health education materials in question here is a health sciences and other sciences that relate to human behavior.
Given the educational objectives include various levels of society, both vertically and horizontally, then the health education materials should be arranged so as to correspond with the level of development and knowledge of the target communities.
Provide health education to children differs by providing health education to adults; providing education to differently educated society by providing health education to people who are not educated. Thus the educational materials provided to the general public is different to that given to health officials. - Health education in schools, is the responsibility of the teachers at the school. This is manifest in the School Health Unit (UKS). The purpose of health education in schools, in addition to continue planting habits and norms of healthy living to students, also provide health knowledge.
- Education health in the community, which can be done through a variety of community agencies and organizations.
